Reproduction Burst coding in locust auditory receptors (Eyherabide et al. 2008)
Tests the findings of Eyherabide, Rokem, Herz and Samengo (2008) on CRCNS data set ia-1, which holds the spike times of locust auditory receptor cells under amplitude-modulated noise (Data1) and the stimuli. It identifies bursts from the spike-train correlation function, counts them per stimulus protocol, computes the information carried by bursts of each size and by the direct method, and the burst-triggered averages of the stimulus. The cells' thresholds, which the paper's model needs, are not in the data set. All files
